Week #4 was our first week back after being tracked out for 3 weeks. Despite the break, I wasn’t super motivated to pack interesting lunches this week, so I left it up to the girls to pick what they wanted each day, which I kinda do already, but if they didn’t have a great ideas themselves, I just steered them towards super easy. ๐ Little Sis chose to eat the exact same sandwich 3 days in a row and Big Sis had varying sandwiches twice this week. I’m pretty sure it’s because I let them choose white bread this week. So, I almost feel bad posting this week’s lunches because they were mostly the exact same sandwich, but hey, the lunch boxes came back empty! ๐
1: Fish Stick Sandwich on hot dog bun with a cute ketchup squirt bottle in our Easylunchboxes. Big Sis got tartar sauce in a container. The fish sandwich was accompanied by carrot sticks, grapes, goldfish crackers and grips mini cookies.
2. Little Sis wanted Mac and Cheese today in a Thermos and LunchBots. Ok! She also got carrot sticks, Pringles potato chips, strawberries and 2 Thanks-a-Lots Girl Scout cookies. She said her lunch was a little too light today, as it came back with narry a crumb. Sorry, girl! I’ll pack more tomorrow!
3. Little Sis’ turkey and muenster cheese on white butter bread along with carrots and ranch, grapes, goldfish and 2 Thin Mints in our EasyLunchboxes. She loved her sandwich SO much that she even ate the crust. AND she requested it again the next 2 days, which is highly unlike her!
4. Little Sis’ lunch, once more, with the same turkey and muenster cheese sandwich with white cheddar Cheez-Its, strawberries, carrots with ranch, crackers and salami and Chips Ahoy cookies for treat. Once again, it came back crumbless in her Fit and Fresh Bento Lunch Kit
5. Finally, a Big Sis lunch in her EasyLunchboxes. Her lunches are harder to take pictures of because she leaves for school an hour earlier and we’re usually in a mad rush and the lighting is poor too boot. Somehow the stars aligned today. Hers was a turkey, American cheese, lettuce and mayo sandwich with sugar snap peas with hummus, whole organic vanilla yogurt with a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips, Sensible Portions’ Veggie Sticks with Sea Salt and freeze-dried apple crisps.
And here’s Little Sis’ version in her Fit & Fresh Bento Lunch Kit.
Here’s hoping next week’s lunches are a little more interesting! ๐
